We are looking for an Area Vice President of Operations to join our team who is ready to lead and serve. As an AVP of Operations, you'll be responsible for the overall financial, operational, clinical, and administrative functions of all designated branch locations. The AVP of Operations is responsible for delivery of efficient, adequate, appropriate, and effective health care services to the agency patient population. The AVP of Operations is responsible for compliance to corporate standards, plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall operations to ensure adherence to the federal and state regulations, and organizational policies and procedures and established goals and is responsible for assigned branch(s) financial success. The AVP of Operations supports growth by active involvement in sales and marketing activities. The AVP of Operations may act as and assume duties as the Administrator and/or will assume duties and act as back up for the Administrator (if not a nurse would not be listed as provider number administrator) during temporary absences and/or vacancies as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited college or University, Bachelor's Degree in related health or business field required. RN preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 year's Leadership experience in hospice preferred or applicable field with direct report responsibility.
    • Skills: Requires demonstrated interpersonal, supervisory, and management skills with ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrates proven organizational development and project management. Exhibits working knowledge of hospice regulations and reimbursement as well as proven leadership abilities

    • Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
    • NOTE: Must reside in or near South Carolina or North Carolina and travel to assigned branches 3-4 days per week.
